Orders

When a customer places an order through your booking live system, the Orders tab updates to include the new order you have.

Making Orders as an Admin User

There are several ways to make an order. Please remember that when you are logged in as an administrator you have additional privileges during the order process, including:

  1. The ability to pre-load any customer's details from the admin system
  2. The ability to add any promotional cost from a drop down list on stage 2 of booking
  3. The ability to see an admin payment screen prior to payment. This allows:
    3.1 A price override / discount the total amount due
    3.2 Ability to raise an invoice
    3.3 Add multiple methods of payment (BACS, Cash etc)

How to Make an order:

  1. You can visit your site http://demo.bookinglive.com/
  2. You can click the "New Order" button on the Orders screen
  3. You can click the "New Order" button within the customer profile
  4. You can click the "New Order" button within an event on the Admin Calendar

How to Edit an Order

  1. From the Orders screen, open an Order by clicking the Edit icon
  2. To edit the purchaser details
    2.1 Click "Actions" (top right), "Edit Details" on the Invoice tab
    2.2 On the pop-up, scroll down to change the purchaser's details
    2.3 Edit any details and click "Update"
  3. To edit the participant details
    3.1 Click "Edit Details" button next to the products under the Invoice tab
    3.2 On the pop-up, scroll down to change the participant's details
    3.3 Click "Checkout"
  4. To edit products
    4.1 Click "Actions" (top right), "Edit Details" on the Invoice tab
    4.2 On the pop-up, scroll down to change the participant's details
    4.3 Click "Checkout"

How to Cancel an Order

  1. From the Orders screen, open an Order by clicking the Edit icon
  2. Click the Cancel tab
  3. Tick the Cancel checkbox and write a note in "Cancel Text"
  4. Click Save

How to Refund an Order

  1. From the Orders screen, open an Order by clicking the Edit icon
  2. Click the transactions tab
  3. Click "Refund" next to a transaction
  4. On the pop-up, complete the information and save
